This production concentrates on the modern day Celtic culture (early 19th Century to present) focusing on the regions, sounds and imagery of Scotland and Ireland. This is not a narration/story-telling show, however for the purpose of driving the production, we have a subtle story line keeping things moving and motivating the guard/visual program. By using a Celtic Muse(s) as the primary character(s), the story is one of intrigue allowing the viewer to simply enjoy the musical and visual kinetics, or dig deeper and “follow” the story if they so choose. The muses are essentially represented by the guard while the winds/percussion are the villagers/common folk.
This show was originally commissioned for the fall of 2015 and was released for the 2016 season.
