Syncopated clapping rhythms and lighthearted melodies make Clap an upbeat and entertaining show. Based off the simple idea of clapping, Mvt 1 is all about a simple clap motif that provides an opportunity to get both the performers and the audience involved. Mvt 2 is a more emotional take on the concept with sound clips from different performers talking about their experiences and the power of the audience's response.
This show was originally commissioned by Townsend JHS in the winter of 2012 and was released for the 2013 indoor season.
