"Captive" was inspired by the imagery of a single bird trapped in a cage while the rest are able to interact from the outside. The entire story is told through the solo performers perspective of wanting to be free. The twist in the story is that once the captive bird is released things on the outside aren't exactly what was and discovers the safety of the cage may have not been such a bad thing after all. Artistically and tasteful, this show is a great option for a group looking to push their ensemble to the next level!
“Captive” was originally an Independent World class finalist at WGI Championships in 2017 performed by POW Percussion. This show was released for the 2018 indoor season
