Age of Invention explores 3 simple yet profound inventions that transformed everyday life: the wheel, the lightbulb, and the locomotive. Musically, this show was composed through the use of clever minimalism and theme & variations creating an evocative score that fulfills both the scoresheet criteria AND appeals to the audience.
These inventions serve as thematic jumping-off points for each movement providing versatile imagery for your visual team to create inspiring moments in drill, movement, and props.
This show was originally commissioned for the fall of 2020 and was released for the 2021 season.
