Description:

“Arachnid” is a culmination of every spidery idea we could imagine. First the spiders all start entering the stage from their nest, led by the black widow character. Mvt 1 begins with different treatments of Itsy Btsy spider and ends with the classic fear of spiders. Mvt 2 highlights a fly character with the spiders eventually able to catch and spin their webs around it. Mvt 3 features a partnered four armed tenor feature with musical and visual recaps that end with the spiders returning to their nest that is fun for everyone!
This show was originally a Scholastic Open Class finalist at WGI World Championships in 2013 performed by Dorman HS and was released for the 2014 indoor season.
