Three simple dots. Endless possibilities. Formally known as an ellipsis, three dots can represent a pause, an unfinished thought, or the anticipation of something yet to come. But sometimes, what isn't said can be just as powerful as what is.

Dot, Dot, Dot... explores the endless creative possibilities of a simple shape. Through bold circular imagery, evolving patterns, and unexpected moments, dots become a visual and musical language of their own. Shapes connect, separate, multiply, and transform, creating a production filled with movement, energy, and surprise. Throughout the show, the idea of the ellipsis weaves its way into the musical landscape. Phrases trail off, moments hang in suspense, and rhythmic punctuation hints that there's always something more around the corner.

Featuring the music of James Horner and Imogen Heap, Dot, Dot, Dot... is a playful yet expressive journey built around a simple idea: sometimes the most exciting part of a story is what comes next...

This show was written by Ian Grom and John Mapes and was originally commissioned for Chino Hills HS for the fall of 2026 and was released for the 2027 season.
