Description:

     "Wrong Side of the Tracks" is a highly coordinated conceptual show that takes you on the journey of being seperation, to finding common ground to acceptance. The color guard can represent the ones on the "wrong side" whilethe band can be on the "right side." The use of train trcks as the props that creat the sepration is a stonge and effectiove way to tell the story.

     The music book is on the higher end of the demand spectrum while still staying in comfortable ranges and idiomatic fingering combinations. This is the perfect challenge for the ensemble ready to make the leap up to more challenging material. This show features a clarinet soloist and a Trumpet duet.

     This show was originally commissioned for Chino Hills HS for the fall of 2024 and was released for the 2025 season.
