Yellow and blue, fast and slow, drum'n bass and Japanese music, staccato and legato movement... Fusion brings contrasting elements together to form new unique combinations. This simple concept presents ideas individually and then combines the opposing parts together to lay the groundwork for effective visual ideas supported by interesting musical fusions. The show concept for Fusion is based off of the Pacifica HS show “Combine” which received the Open Class Gold medal at WGI World Championships in 2007.
This show was originally commissioned for marching band in the fall of 2007 and was released for the 2009 indoor season as a custom version adapted for indoor percussion.
