Description:

        “Skip” is a light hearted production utilizing as many different Skip ideas as possible. There is tons of GE in this show for both the performers and audience alike. From the beginning with everyone literally skipping across the floor, to the skip groove breakdown, to the rock skipping across the water effect, to the classic “Swan lake” theme actually being skipped, this show has it all. And that's only the first movement! Mvt 2 takes a more serious turn with the classic love story of your heart skipping a beat providing an emotional layer for the concept. Then the show wraps up with the entire battery actually skipping rope before the battery marches underneath a big jump rope for the climax of the show.
       “Skip” was originally a Scholastic Open finalist at WGI Championships in 2014 performed by Los Alamitos HS and was released for the 2015 indoor season. Anyone interested in this show should watch the video of the Los Alamitos version to see all the potential!
