Drawn to the Flame explores the universal and complex human experience of being attracted to something that may be harmful yet irresistible, highlighting the paradoxical nature of human desires. Ideally the battery would represent the moths, a visual ensemble would represent the fire and there would be some sort of abstract lantern prop. This show features arrangments of Stravinsky's "Firebird" and "Moth to a Flame" by The Weekend.
This show was originally an Independent World class finalist at WGI Championships in 2024 performed by POW Percussion. This show was released for the 2025 indoor season and was written by Eric Shriver, Trent Gronewold with program coordination by John Mapes.
