Constant State of Going Nowhere is a production that conjurs the essence of a bustling metropolitan city through a modern lens. The compostion's unique musical language combines the influences of Steve Reich, Robert Glasper, Leonard Bernstein, and Alan SIlvestri in a contemporary package that will make your ensemble stand out from the crowd. Constantly evolving textures across the full ensemble combined with a persistent, and groove-influenced drive will inspire your visual design team!
This show was originally commissioned for Chino Hills HS for the fall of 2023 and was released for the 2025 indoor season as a custom version adapted for indoor percussion.
